In August 2025 I made one of my dreams come true by exhibiting my street photography (and my good friend Marc’s photography) in a museum for 4 days in nowhere less than Tokyo, my favourite city in the world.

Marc and I selected 13 photos from our zine “IWAKAN” and presented them to the series category of a photo contest organised by the Japanese street photography collective “Frame Tokyo” which count with amazing photographers, some of them even sponsored by Ricoh.

It was an amazing experience. I got to meet so many talented photographers, to discuss about photography with very interesting people that came to see the exhibition, and in general our work got a very positive feedback. Some people might have liked it better, some people maybe not as much, but what was clear was that it didn’t leave anyone indifferent, which was our intention.

I want to acknowledge and appreciate everyone that came to visit, everyone that showed us support even from the distance, and everyone that stopped even for a second to look at our art. I don’t take people’s time for granted and I feel so grateful for all the support that I received. I can’t wait for the opportunity to organise an event like that again.

Here are some photos of the exhibition:
